Microblading and Shading
Microblading is a semi-permanent brow makeup enhancement that is done to the brow to perfect any imperfections due to thinning, desired darkening, scarring, not having the desired shape, lengthening, and most importantly for those, including men, suffering from alopecia.
This procedure is done by manually using a microblading pen with microneedles that are dipped into our animal cruelty-free pigments followed by drawing hairlike strokes onto the brows to mimic brow hair. For a more bold or darker brow, microshading technique is done using either pen or machine.
Aftercare instructions will be given once the procedure is complete. Upon completion, allow the brows to heal in about 14 days. A second "touch-up" is required after the initial microblading to ensure that the brows are filled in and shaped as desired. This touch up will need to be filled in 4-6 weeks after the first microblading visit.
IF TAKING RETINOIDS, VITAMIN C SERUMS AND, GLYCOLICS, ACCUTANE OR ANY WAXING, BOTOX, PEELS, LASER, TANNING OR ANY SKIN IRRITANTS, PLEASE REFRAIN 2 WEEKS PRIOR AND 3 WEEKS AFTER. THE SKIN AROUND THE BROW IS SENSITIVE AND SHOULD BE IN A HEALTHY STATE BEFORE THE MICROBLADING PROCEDURE.
People with Eczema,psoriasis, rosacea, or melasma, enlarged pores on forehead/face, acne prone, may unfortunately have to get touch ups sooner than the normal year to 3 year touch ups due to fading faster.
THE DRY HEALING METHOD IS DONE TO RETAIN MORE DETAIL, BETTER LOOKING STROKES, DEEPER LOOKING COLOR AND LESS FADING.
The procedure takes from anywhere up to 2- 31/2 hours to complete. A consultation is required to do a allergy test and to answer any questions that you may have.
